State of the Union 2015

The White House released the text of the address publicly in advance of the speech for the first time — commenting that it is “continuing efforts to reach a wide online audience and give people a range of ways to consume the speech.” The White House says it is changing its policy because in past years, the press and “all their friends” have had access to the speech, while the public “remains in the dark.”
