A DNC official says they’re going up this week with radio and television ads in 35 congressional districts – making the case for the new legislation, and then thanking Democrats and hammering Republicans on health care.
The party will spend in the “significant seven figures” on the campaign, the official said.
Here’s a sample of the Republican radio ad script:
But no thanks to Congressman XXXX. XXX XXX stood with insurance companies and their Washington lobbyists and against reform.
XXX XXX voted against ending discrimination based on pre-existing conditions, against reining in premiums, against lowering drug costs for seniors and against tax credits for small businesses.
