Un interessante articolo/intervista a Ralph Emanuel da Politico Magazine. Il sindaco di Chicago spiega come usa l’approccio filosofico dell’ex presidente nel prendere decisioni.
“I do come out of President [Bill] Clinton’s philosophy where I’ll look at different ideas and my question isn’t, ‘Where does this sit on the ideological prism?’”. “It’s, ‘Does it move you forward?’ Or, ‘Does it just keep you trapped in the past?’” he added. “Change is difficult. The goal is to make change your friend, not your foe.”
“Change is hard, but I do believe if you give people a sense of where you’re going, and what you’re trying to accomplish and how you can make them winners of that, that is a better option than the certainty of what you have today,” Emanuel said, “because it’s replaced for the certainty of what you’re going to get tomorrow.”
